Structure
The Young Liberal Movement is made up of branches based around different geographical areas. Branch meetings and functions are a good way for Young Liberals in the same area to get together and socialise, discuss policy, and stay in touch with the Liberal cause in the local area. Your local branch President and committee are responsible for the management of the branch.
Each branch sends delegates to the Young Liberal Council, which is the governing body of the Movement in SA and amongst other things elects the State Executive. Young Liberal Council meets every month and all members of the Movement are welcome to attend and have their say.
The Movement also holds various functions and activities such as the State Convention held over a weekend, quiz nights, debates, Mock Parliament with Young Labor, the Young Liberal Ball and many other events.
Coupled with this, all Young Liberals are automatically members of the Liberal Party and get an equal say in all Party matters from preselecting candidates for elections, to voting on Party policy and contributing to the future direction of our party.
